The room was great except for the toilet would not fill up with water to accommodate flushes that were needed for four adults

I stayed in one of these condos through Airbnb. One bedroom, one bath, small kitchen area (stove, microwave, fridge), living/dining area with floor to ceiling windows. Tiny patio to walk on, but not big enough for furniture. The location is AMAZING. Right on the beach with a pool, walking distance to restaurants/shops/fishing pier. Plenty of outside seating to enjoy the weather. Laundry area with ice machine. I traveled solo and felt safe walking around at night.

Many of the units have had recent renovations done as the building has undergone an extensive overhaul. It is a condo building. An on-site restaurant is very convenient. You certainly can't beat the view being oceanfront and right at the main crossroads.

Location was amazing! Price was affordable and our host was awesome! Now the stairs were brutal and the elevator was hot, and the air conditioning in the actual rooms did not work too well. But for the price and location it was well worth it.

Older property but the room was recently renovated. It was just right for two people. Close to restaurants and amusements. I will probably return.

Can't really make a review of the rooms because are each inividually own... b.u.t... the location is good, pool side is really nice - two sections - pool is deep and big. Site is right on the beach, walking to just about everything you need. Overall it a good stay for you $ and a lot of fun!

Overall, we had a great vacation. We stayed at the Daytona Inn Beach Resort. The resort itself is an older resort that sits right on the beach. You can walk out your back door and be on the beach in less than a minute. Great location. The building is a much older building. I believe that I was told that the building was built in the 1940s or 50s. It's a concrete structure that is a little rough from the outside. When we first saw the building, I thought, "Oh no! This doesn't look good!"; however, once we went inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The units are actually privately owned, and most have been remodeled inside. Ours was an updated one bedroom efficiency with a full kitchen but no dishwasher. All of the units are small but well organized. The main room is an open concept kitchen and living room area with a sliding glass door that provides spectacular views and direct beach access. It's hard to find access like this, literally right on the beach with no real walk. There is a beautiful pool, and the location is perfect for anyone who prefers to walk to local restaurants and activities. Warning-these are small units. Suitable for 1-3 people but not more. During our stay, we found out the AC was on its last leg and barely working. Despite that, our unit, which was a ground floor unit, stayed comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our time staying there. I would go back as this is a good reasonably priced way to enjoy the beach, relax, and completely unwind .
